Service Description

Burnout among legal professionals has reached crisis levels, with nearly 80% reporting burnout in 2025. The primary drivers are heavy workloads combined with long hours (47% of lawyers cite this as their biggest challenge) and lack of work-life balance (33%). For lawyers with ten years' experience or less, these feelings are particularly pronounced. The problem is systemic: client expectations continue to increase, the pressure to bill remains relentless, and the culture in many firms makes it difficult to set boundaries without appearing uncommitted. Meanwhile, perfectionism — often what made you successful initially — can become debilitating when applied to an impossible volume of work. What we will work on: Managing workload sustainably: Prioritising effectively when everything feels urgent, identifying what truly requires your attention versus what can be delegated or done differently, and creating systems that prevent constant firefighting Setting boundaries without damaging your career: Learning to say no (or "not now") strategically, managing partner and client expectations realistically, and protecting time for recovery without appearing uncommitted Overcoming perfectionism and procrastination: Recognising when "good enough" is genuinely sufficient, breaking the cycle of over-preparing and over-checking, and managing anxiety around delegation Building confidence in high-pressure situations: Managing nerves before client presentations or hearings, dealing with aggressive opposing counsel or difficult partners, and recovering quickly from mistakes or criticism Returning to work effectively: Rebuilding confidence after illness, parental leave, or career breaks, managing reduced hours or flexible working arrangements, and re-establishing your presence in the firm This coaching is designed for lawyers who recognise that their current pace is unsustainable and need practical strategies that work within the realities of legal practice. Pricing: Single Strategy Session (1 hour): £350 Focused Coaching Series (4 hours): £1,200 Intensive Coaching Programme (8 hours): £2,200
