What makes me different?

 

I'm still practising

 

• I didn't leave law to become a coach. I'm a corporate solicitor with 10 years PQE, working in practice while running my coaching business. That means when you talk about a difficult partner, a client relationship that's gone sideways, or feeling like an imposter before a pitch, I'm dealing with those things too.

• Most coaches for lawyers left practice years ago. Their advice can feel disconnected from what it's actually like to work in a law firm or in-house now. I'm in it. I understand the billable hour pressure, the politics, the stakeholder management, the exhaustion, and the constant questioning of whether this is sustainable.

My coaching approach

• I trained with the Academy of Executive Coaching which means that I have been developed to a rigorous, internationally recognised standard grounded in evidence‑based coaching psychology and professional ethics. I have a commitment to reflective practice, high‑quality supervision, and the practical skills needed to coach professionals with depth, structure, and integrity.

• What makes our sessions different is that I bring current, live experience from legal practice. I know what actually works in UK law firms right now, not what worked ten years ago.
