The reality is that technical excellence alone no longer guarantees progression. With too many senior associates competing for too few partnership slots, firms are looking for lawyers who can bring in work, build strategic relationships, and demonstrate commercial awareness. However, most lawyers struggle with business development because networking feels transactional and inauthentic, pitching feels uncomfortable, and no one has taught you how to build genuine client relationships whilst managing a full caseload. The challenge is compounded if you naturally lack confidence or find self-promotion difficult. What we will work on: Authentic business development: Building a sustainable pipeline without feeling like a salesperson, identifying opportunities within your existing network, and creating touchpoints with potential clients that feel natural Strategic relationship building: Understanding which relationships matter most, navigating firm politics effectively, and building your internal profile with key decision-makers Leadership presence: Presenting with authority in client meetings and pitches, speaking up confidently in partner meetings, and being seen as someone ready for greater responsibility Commercial awareness: Understanding client businesses and industries, identifying opportunities for cross-selling, and thinking beyond technical delivery to strategic client service Managing the psychological barriers: Overcoming imposter syndrome, dealing with rejection, and maintaining motivation when progress feels slow This coaching is particularly valuable if you are being told you need to "be more visible" or "develop your profile" but are uncertain how to do that authentically. Pricing: Single Strategy Session (1 hour): £350 Focused Coaching Series (4 hours): £1,200 Intensive Coaching Programme (8 hours): £2,200
Cancellation Policy
1 Booking and Payment Terms 1.1 Payment in Advance All coaching packages require payment in advance before services commence. Payment confirms your booking and secures your coaching slots. 1.2 Pricing Our minimum rate is £300 per hour plus VAT. Pricing plans are as set out on our website from time to time. 1.3 Payment Methods We accept secure online payments and bank transfers. All transactions are processed securely through trusted payment providers. 1.4 VAT VAT will be charged where applicable in accordance with UK tax regulations. VAT receipts will be provided for all transactions. 1.5 Rescheduling Sessions may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours' notice. We will work together to find mutually convenient alternative times. 2. Cancellation and Refund Policy 2.1 Client Cancellations Clients may cancel individual sessions with at least 48 hours' notice. Sessions cancelled with adequate notice may be rescheduled without penalty. 2.2 Refund Entitlement Clients who cancel a session with at least 48 hours' notice will be refunded any balance for unused sessions. The refund will be calculated based on the remaining sessions in your package. 2.3 Late Cancellations Sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice may be charged at the full session rate unless emergency circumstances apply as below (to be judged at the discretion of KJD Elevate). 2.4 Emergency Situations We understand that genuine emergencies occur. Emergency cancellations will be considered on a case-by-case basis with appropriate documentation. 2.5 Refund Processing Approved refunds will be processed within 14 days to the original payment method. Bank transfer refunds may take 3-5 business days to appear in your account.
