The legal profession is changing rapidly, and many lawyers are reassessing whether their current path still aligns with what they want. You may be facing pressure to pursue partnership but questioning whether the trade-off (increased stress, business development expectations, reduced benefits) is worth it. Alternatively, you may be considering going in-house, changing practice areas, or leaving law entirely. The challenge is that these decisions are complex, with no clear right answer. Each option involves trade-offs, and the pressure to make the "correct" choice can be paralysing. Meanwhile, speaking openly about your doubts at your current firm often feels risky. What we will work on: Gaining clarity on your priorities: Understanding what you actually value in your career (beyond what you think you should want), identifying your non-negotiables, and assessing which paths genuinely align with your goals Evaluating options objectively: Weighing up partnership versus in-house roles, understanding the realities of each path (not the idealised versions), and assessing financial implications realistically Navigating transitions strategically: Positioning yourself effectively for your next role (CV, LinkedIn, interviews), managing the timing of your move, and having difficult conversations with your current firm Managing the emotional aspects: Dealing with identity shifts, handling fear of making the wrong choice, and building confidence in your decision Exploring alternative paths: Understanding portfolio careers, interim roles, career breaks, and options beyond traditional legal practice This coaching provides a confidential space to think through your options with someone who understands the legal environment but has no vested interest in your decision. Pricing: Single Strategy Session (1 hour): £350 Focused Coaching Series (4 hours): £1,200 Intensive Coaching Programme (8 hours): £2,200
Cancellation Policy
1 Booking and Payment Terms 1.1 Payment in Advance All coaching packages require payment in advance before services commence. Payment confirms your booking and secures your coaching slots. 1.2 Pricing Our minimum rate is £300 per hour plus VAT. Pricing plans are as set out on our website from time to time. 1.3 Payment Methods We accept secure online payments and bank transfers. All transactions are processed securely through trusted payment providers. 1.4 VAT VAT will be charged where applicable in accordance with UK tax regulations. VAT receipts will be provided for all transactions. 1.5 Rescheduling Sessions may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours' notice. We will work together to find mutually convenient alternative times. 2. Cancellation and Refund Policy 2.1 Client Cancellations Clients may cancel individual sessions with at least 48 hours' notice. Sessions cancelled with adequate notice may be rescheduled without penalty. 2.2 Refund Entitlement Clients who cancel a session with at least 48 hours' notice will be refunded any balance for unused sessions. The refund will be calculated based on the remaining sessions in your package. 2.3 Late Cancellations Sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice may be charged at the full session rate unless emergency circumstances apply as below (to be judged at the discretion of KJD Elevate). 2.4 Emergency Situations We understand that genuine emergencies occur. Emergency cancellations will be considered on a case-by-case basis with appropriate documentation. 2.5 Refund Processing Approved refunds will be processed within 14 days to the original payment method. Bank transfer refunds may take 3-5 business days to appear in your account.
